Board Member Ongel Aldridge Ongel Aldridge attended LSU and the University of Houston. She was a computer Systems Analyst for 10 years before retiring to be a stay at home Mom. She has been married to Michael for 30 years and has two children. She served on the St. Thomas Moore Foundation Board and was the St. Thomas Moore PTC fundraiser chairman for 3 years. In Houston, Ongel volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and School serving on the Foundation committee, Auction Fundraiser Committee and Church Renovation Committee. In 2005 she helped coordinate medical and non-medical volunteers at the Cajundome shelter in Lafayette after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. There she became involved in the LEMU project and has served on the board as fundraiser and volunteer coordinator.
